There were 200 dancers involved and they had only 2 rehearsals (NOT in the station). It was a publicity "thang" since they were looking to cast the lead in the Sound of Music stage/road show. How frickin' cool was it, however? I loved the way the "real people" in the station either went about their business or stood there clapping and/or dancing in place. SWEET!!!

Superdefender filmed here our last rehersal on a sunday morning ... March 22. The "real" shot was on Monday 23 during rush hour ;-)

I don't know if this version of the dance is really from an "innocent" by-stander or someone who knew what was about to happen (considering the video quality I doubt it was a planned camera angle). I don't know how many times I've seen the official version but I sorta like this one... how cool would it have been to actually be a stunned-onlooker while this was happening? Good angle, great share!

You can tell nobody but the dancers and maybe their families(those who weren't actually dancing!) knew this was going to happen by the lack of audience members. there'd have been far more there to watch it if it had been promoted. i'd love to have been one of the lucky onlookers for that.
