I mean that Marcus Garvey's idea of creating a black nation where the diaspora of Africans in the Americas would band together to create a nation was rejected by people like DuBois because of his desire to be so accepted by white people. It was a flunky mentality. Do almost anything to prove one's worth. I doubt the Chinese government cares if some white dude in a trailer thinks they are inferior. They are for themselves. @dbs201093 Its not wise to believe that all people are the same. Black people were stolen from Africa. Being stolen from the physical continent itself is less major than having one's culture stripped along with language and overall knowledge of self. Our ancestors were freed but then what? After about two hundred or so years of being told you were cattle and mere property then being released to "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" we were expected to succeed. Marcus Garvey was right not DuBois.
