@1txpipeliner oh brother... no, stepping on the brakes will not kill it because the vacuum assist will actually let more air into the engine momentarily (as long as the idle isnt so low that the drag from the torque converter doesnt stall it). and yes, a cammed vehicle will load up with fuel.

I have a 4 speed Muncie. I would for sure use a stall converter with an automatic. With the manual I need to rev it slightly before engaging the clutch.
