It's not that the Pokemon are unbeatable, it's the entire presentation of the monster house itself, a ton of Pokemon showering from the floor above and the music changing.  The music is definitely the worst part, especially in dungeons when I listen to the background music for fun (Sky Tower, etc.) and then all of a sudden the song changes, it scared the crap out of me as a kid and still does (childhood trauma).

I wish I could mod the game so the music doesn't change in a monster house...

I never want to visit Sky Tower again. This was the game that made me realise that not all games are made for you to complete easily and have fun doing so. Some games are made for you to have everything beaten out of you and have fun doing so. When I completed Sky Tower I felt 'Today I am a man'.

Lmfao, I just used a paralysis seed to buy time. But if you have nothing, then its more or less "SURPRISE BUT SEX". Lol :P

Another fun thing to do with monster houses is use AOE moves that work on the entire room.

Agility is the WORST move to go up against in a monster house. Many times I've had my ass handed to me because of that.
