Hmmm, of course Abraham had faith because faith was dispensed at any time!! Any man at any time can have faith in the one true God!

Original dispensationalism (Darby and early Scofield) had quite a few faults. It was revised later. Now, there is a progressive dispensationalism that comes much closer to what the Bible teaches about the Old and New Covenants. Also original covenant theology and its one covenant of grace has given way to NEW covenant theology which is very much like progressive dispensationalism!

Wow! Does Dave Hunt ever hedge his bets. He should be a politition!
I wonder why he doesn't allude to "the Mystery" which was revealed to Paul?
THATS the explanation and solution!

The guy interviewing knows more about dispenationalism than this guy does. He is dealing more with dispensations rather than dispensationalism. Also, dispenationalism is not a heresy. The word is used in the Bible (Eph. 1:10; 3:2).

"There was an age of innocence...it says 'the times of this ignorance God winked at', then came the time of conscience...dispensation of law, dispensation of grace..
I never knew you both accepted the dispensationalist heresy, thank you for at least admitting it here publicly, now all can at least know your choice of heresy.
"you can get really messed up if you take this to the extreme....we have to get back to the bible and see what it really says" Gee really Dave, then please do so. Unreal.
This question is not answered very well at all. Dispensationalism is a system of interpreting the Bible. The two great pillars of the interpreting method is that (1) a literal hermenuetic is always used consistently and (2) the Church and Israel are always kept separate. Dispensationalism allows for one to read the Bible and interpret it in its normal meaning. See "Dispensationalism" by Charles Ryrie

yes but not in the sense that it is affiliated with today. most people that are non-dispensationalists, as myself, reject this form of interpretation because of its radical separation of israel and the church.
