These would also be great for the home, and inside the home. Would make great night lights. That way you dont have to turn a switch to go to the restroom.

Hello Dr Rogers, I am not a pilot, but i wanted to say... Kudos !!! very nice !!!... Also have you given any thought to using your products for other industries ???, the large cones look like they could be applied in the commercial fishing industry, for use as traps for... fish, lobster, crab, shrimp, conch, prawn etc. etc. ... the glow material could even be used in could even be used in conjunction with my own invention US pat # 6880290, It is a fishing gear recovery device.

its not that easy... not by a longshot. there are way too many variables that would prevent it from being THAT easy.

You wouldn't need all that. Just use an IR light and camera system for an active detection system for IR reflective cones and such. If you're talking about computerizing the whole thing it's much more efficient to have everything in one area rather than have to rely on a radio signal link which can be broken.

if its dark all you need is a nightvision camera.... if not... just have something that heats up in the shape of the runway, like a wire with electricity running through it and use a thermal scope. or both and your good.
