Paul McCartney - Hope of Deliverance cover

This is to celebrate the fact that I saw Paul McCartney in concert last week (December 9) in Arnhem, The Netherlands and had the time of my life (I was on the front row!!!) and I am going to see him again in Dublin, Ireland next weekend (December 20).

Not totally happy with this recording, but it'll do. I'm sorry, I don't have the time now to make a proper (headless :P) video for this, it's just so busy this time a year. That's why I just provided the lyrics. But I hope you'll like it anyway.

A nice choice, and sung beautifully again. I'm glad you enjoyed the concert in Arnhem, and have a good time in Dublin. I first saw Paul in 1973 when I was 15, the ticket cost £1!

£1, incredible! If only that was still the case now...Paul's tickets get more and more expensive each time, but well....if you end up on the front row, it's more than worth it, I've had the time of my life last week. :)

Incredible as it seems now, we just walked in and bought tickets, I think it took some time to sell out a 2,000 seat theatre, and that was in Britain! I saw him two years later in the same venue but that show was more popular. I'm sure others will agree, your voice is warm and sweet, just like a lovely Christmas pudding !( a British dessert to the uninitiated)

Paul's concerts are always amazing!! Last week's wasn't my first concert....the first time I saw him was in 2003 (Antwerp), but I've seen him also in 2004 (Paris), 2007 (London), 2008 (Liverpool!!) and now.

I'm going to work on more Paul or Beatles covers though, I've been a bit caught up with Simon & Garfunkel but haven't forgotten about Paul and the Beatles!
