I know this is pointless, but for anyone who is confused as to how to beat this, this is an easier way.

Set up a portal on the wall that faces the button and one in front of the Aerial Faith Plate. Use your partner to get over to the AFP's and shoot yourself towards your portal. Jump as soon as you hit the ground so that you retain your momentum through the portal and get shot to the button. Set up the block launch room and launch your partner and the block accordingly so that they catch it. =)
