I caught Amtrak's California Zephyr in Denver and in Glenwood Springs. There's a pair of BNSF Dash 9's as helpers in Denver, and a brief view of the beautiful Glenwood Canyon.

  • Why is he arriving so late?

  • Snow and cold in the Midwest caused P42DC's to malfunction causing the delay, is what I heard.

  • Great video! We took the California Zephyr and then the Cardinal to Baltimore and back to the west coast. Unfortunately, I only had a digital still camera to capture video of the trip but I have the videos on my channel if you want to take a look. Next to driving across the country, Amtrak is the very best way to see America.

  • Just curious, how do you get to the first location? Any answer would be great, PM or simple comment. I've had so many problems at that station and surronding area I've lost count. Thanks.
