A homage to Oswaldo Golijov and Dawn Upshaw and their brilliant collaboration "Ayre". Taped in Frenchtown, N.J. with local folk. The images, energy and movements were inspired by the music with a touch of Fellini and a nod to Pina Bausch.

  • this is odd O.O

did Osvaldo Golijov really compose this piece?

  • @maxi36440529 Absolutely! That's why I love him. You just never know.

  • very interesting interpretation of the music!

  • @lindaerickson Actually, he didn't. It's an adaptation of a 19th-century Sardinian folk song. Still -- the arrangement is all Golijov.
