  • My family are Scottish and say NO to independent Scotland

But yes to independent United kingdom Vote UKIP

    we are stronger as one

  • I'm English and I say YES to scottish independence!

  • An independent Scotland would shift much of its attention away from the UK to become a member of the Scandinavian circle of countries, with its own army, navy and air force modelled on its Nordic neighbours, according to detailed plans being drawn up by the SNP.

initial plans have already been drawn up for an electricity super-grid between Scotland and Norway.

  • @forsythbill1 Nobody is saying you will have to pay it streight away, just you will need to find the money for your share...spoke to one person who said you can borrow on the strength of your oil revenue, but like i said the oil companies were granted by the British government,so that will need to be looked at?..you might not get whats due streight away..its all about negotiations between Scotland and the rest of the UK

  • As isay the UK is a union Scotland is not a region or principality of England in the event of any dissolution of a union or treaty there has to be negotiations the national debt is the debt of the UK and both nations will have to pay it back each according to their liabilityand if Scotland is expected to pay her fair share up front and sraight away then so is England. All of this will take place under the auspices of international law and not on the bullying terror of England.
