  • that feeling you had as you try to read the text that flashes to quickly on the screen is just little of what a soldier feels all the time 24/7 and can build over time into overwhelm and/or hyper-vigilance, states that makes it difficult to function. This can beaten, life can get good again. Please support our troops. (from one soldier Retired to another) hang in there, there are answers.

  • Thank you for your service and sacrifices. On top of that , you are very talented

  • Hi there, great video and song.... please check out my Youtube video 'Soldier Boy' (search Stu Aspinall). I wrote the song after being inspired by the story of a young soldier who suffered from PTSD before finally giving in to the disorder. I am donating proceeds from every download of my song to support programs that help soldiers and their families try and deal with PTSD. 'share' it if you like it :-) Thanks to all the soldiers out there!!

  • Great song!

25th March marks 4 yrs since I got back from Iraq. For me personally, I think of the good and bad times every day. I never laughed so hard. At times, I had never been so scared, all with a solid weld of a bond with men which cannot be measured, of which I miss them dearly like long lost brothers.

I was diagnosed with PTSD in Feb 2010, and with help from a Viet Nan Vet neighbour, I ended up under the wing of the Australia's VVCS. I deal with it. Life rolls on for us all....

  • Incredible

  • I am a Navy Veteran. 1980-1984, Beirut in '83. I was a NYC Police Detective on 9-11-01 with 17 years on the job. I was a first responder. I spent weeks digging through the debri with my fellow rescuers only to find death. I worked in the morgue for months trying to identify what was left of our people. I was always outgoing, energetic and ready for a challenge.

Now after 9 years I still break down and cry for no reason. I still have trouble leaving the house. It is a wound that won't heal.

    I

  • Thank you, Soldier! This music is incredible!!
