'Black' English nor 'White' English is "proper". Both forms of English are dialects learn in your surroundings. Yes, if u came out the hood and applied for a job in a 'White' suburb it would be Helpful to learn their dialect. Same goes for a Suburban going into the hood. Respect others and their culture. First of all, this man can be my Mayor anytime! Secondly, it is not our school's responsibility to educate our children. It is the job of the parents to educate their children with the assistance of the school. The Department of Education is a complete failure. The family unit has been breaking down for generations. It is not a black or a white issue, it is an American Issue. The more we allow ourselves to be divided, the more we all lose.
