Great memories of our childhood. My brothers and I were raised in Buru-un. See our new church; everyday living at the start of the day in Buru-un; fruitstand where my cousins live in Malaybalay. It is said it's not where you come from but where you're going - true, but the foundation starts at home, Buru-un.

  • Greetings from North Carolina, USA, where I grew up since 1974. I was born in Buru-un, where my family background is Esparagoza and Dela Cruz.. I LOVE Buru-un, have strong ties with family there, and consider it my first home. I was there for a month in June 2008 with my mother and older brother, staying with my Tita Nene. Planning to go back and visit this September 2009. The mellow life style is awesome, and I miss the banana-Q snacks in the afternoon, brought from near-by Linamon.
