@rsageeth no, it is not obvious. because I have researched how the ISJ system works, I understand it, and there's not nearly as much room for bias as the 6.0 system. I never said there was absolutely no bias in this one, I simply said it is not as bad as the old one. So please calm down, stop swearing at me, and stop making assumptions about what I said. I do see how there is bias in this scoring system, there will be with any scoring system. But it is a huge improvement over the old one.

@littleskt8r oh god, pls get real will ya, saying there is no corruption in this new system is BULLSHIT! Its everywhere, even now as recently as the last few competitions last year...look at Patric Chan's INFLATED marks, look how Kim Yu Na won the free program over Mao Asada even after a fall and a botched double axel (2010 worlds) ....if someone else had done what Kim had done at that worlds they would NOT have gotten the same scores....ISN'T IT OBVIOUS BY NOW FOR YOU?

@littleskt8r you think just because of the mew system they cant cheat? they didn't want johnny to win and that it. the same exact score down to a one hundredth of a point you cant get more deliberate than that. I'm mean just look what happened at the olympics!! if that's not corrupt then i don't know what is

I saw this performance live and he is amazing, listening to him commentate on Ice Network is the best thing ever!!!!

@ashkebrian If he "tripled" the double toe he would have violated the Zayak rule. Had he tacked a second double toe, or even a single toe onto the end, that could have made the difference.

@EchelonSummer how is IJS just as corrupted as the 6.0 system? 6.0 was all ENTIRELY subjective. IJS has a point system. They break ties based off the freeskate score, that's clearly stated in the rules, it isn't a back room deal or cleverly hidden. 6.0 is about who you know, IJS is not, they average out the judges scores to eliminate as much subjectivity as possible. Who you think should've won is your opinion, but don't blame IJS because if we still used 6.0, this would be way worse.

if it's a tie why is he 2nd??????????

I didn't mean that Ev had a sub-par free in Vancouver..he won that one by playing the system and racking up the most points fair and square. in the 2008 Nats however, the gold was a gift that was stolen off the neck of Weir, because the USFSA just plain has never liked Weir. And Ev is the poster child for the PC skater they want as their champion. Weir is NOT. A TIE?? In this system? I actually heard one reporter, amazed at the tie, say "Down to 2 decimal points?" Yeah, right.

So, as you can see, the new IJS is just as easily corrupted as was the old 6.0..t's just cleverly hidden. As recently as Vancouver, there is STILL vote parlaying going on in the judging. Back room deals are still made, the corruption still exists (Lysacek won with a sub par free, and even HE would admit that-trust me on this one) and it is still about who you know..and who you...well, you get the picture. When you have a judged sport, corruption exists. To think that the IJS fixed that is naive.
Johnny not earning his 4th National title here was one of the biggest tragedies of the sport. He was amazing. He deserved that gold and everyone knows it. I still call him 4 time National Champion Johnny Weir. Should have had the silver this year too, but of course the USFSA's golden boy Lysacek got it with two sub-par skates.

Funny, the first word that comes to mind when I look at this performance is 'passionate.' Even if it doesn't come across in the performance to some people, his immediate reaction when he finished should communicate his dedication. Lysacek is just... boring.
