My director said that this song is old, but when I heard it , it was as though I had heard it for the first time. This is one of the most amazing ,glorious songs I have ever heard. It is a blessing to me everytime I hear it.

This song is great because it speaks to OUR responsibility to God having received the blessings that we have, mainly the blessing of life. More contemporary "gospel" music focuses, almost exclusively on what we want God to do for US, not on what WE should do for God. I'm glad I grew up in the church on THIS type of song and not the stuff that is out there TODAY.
