Jacek from Optitek put together this kick ass EVF and power HDMI splitter base for HDSLR's. I have been waiting for this type of invention for some time. Finally we have cine style shoting with the Canon HDSLR's!

  • @vincentjanse What kind of filming? Professional filming! You can't cheap out on gear, and this stuff is on the lower end of acceptable.

  • @junejhunkie It's actually a RED pro prime 85mm

  • @vincentjanse Lol not even close to expensive, a RED One is $25,00. A VariCam is $60,000. haha so yeah

  • for what type of filming would such a expensive gear be useful for?

as a amateur it is absolutely ridic even that guy would have to agree with me and woudent the top heavy problem be easily solved with a counter weight?

    or am I misunderstanding something

  • @ch2ok "i think" that lens attached is a carl zeiss compact prime II

  • i hate that all this gear is so fuckin overprized, in general. the mounts and shit are more expensive than the camera and lenses itself. in my opinion this is ridiculous"!

  • he also said at the end... "we're around about fifteen hundred dollars."

Pretty good price for that rig, IMO.

  • @tekho I think he said "under a thousand dollars".

  • did he just said a hundred thousand dollars? hehe

  • WHAT A LENS!! is someone possible to tell me more about it?
