    When Huey Long became governor, just 136 miles of Louisiana were paved. Within two years, one in ten U.S. Highway workers were correcting that situation.

    Very nice job on this docuvid. I enjoyed visiting Louisiana last year and the people there were wonderful hosts. A great state and I want to go back. But this vid shows the flipside of fun in public life.

    Louisiana seems politically close to Illinois--but with better restaurants.
