Von Bommel is pretty guy with good relations with the refferee, but he is dirty. Very dirty. Without his dirt,, he is just a poor soccer player. His dirt is his trademark.

The main reason van Bommel gets away with so many fouls is because players like C. Ronaldo, Pedro, Neymar etc etc etc. dive so many times in a game that it is impossible to see for a referee if it was a elbow or just some acting. Think about that the next time you see van Bommel doing something.
