When gasoline was only a dollar a gallon, not many supported mass transit. With gasoline now at four dollars a gallon, there are still those who are opposed to mass transit. I suspect they will still drive their gas guzzling pick ups with only a driver inside the pick up when gasoline is eight dollars per gallon.
I guess they are so rich they could afford to pay $40 per gallon. But most of us can't. Mass transit is the wave of the future. Its great to see it in operation now.
