  • I came from a low income household so I understand the lack of money. I volunteer for mostly inner city youth programs. The kids involved have either a single mom raising them or their Nana. They basically are on their own. I try to help the kids by keeping them motivated get their spirit up and have fun. Some of them cry and get upset when they have to go home and my heart aches for them. I didn't come from a broken home but a poor one. I have patience with these kids and they love that.
