Shooting a short barreled, muzzel braked, 50 caliber rifle in a concrete structured room?

Are these people fucking high or just retarded?

Im suprised the shooter stood up, shit like that causes brain damage and organ collapse.

@crazy0ace1 it takes much less than 80 ft/lbs to kill a human, people have been killed by sub 12 ft/lb air rifles. Its more in the region of 30-40

@GOODYEAR1953 id prefer using a weapon that weighs half as much and carry twise as much ammo. it takes 80ft/lbs to kill a human, which means using that gun in an urban environment redefines overkill, by about 40 times the power needed. i realize a .50 makes people feel like a man but tactically there are far better choices that will allow for easier movement, faster targeting and follow up shots, as well as the ability to carry enough ammo for an unexpected extended stay

@crazy0ace1Mister specialist: the short barrel has a V0 of 625m/s compared to the standard length (825 m/s). The gun in urban warfare will not have to shoot further than let's say 300m: at that distance it still delivers 5700 Joule; or the equivalent of the standard barrel length at 800m; this means still 2.5 more power than à .308 or 9 times the power of a .223R at 300m. And who cares that 50% of the gun powder is wasted? Or would you prefer the logistic nightmare of having dedicated ammo??

@13thmistral: what do you mean with "hot swapping"? If you swap, it's when you prepare a new mission (it takes 3 minutes to swap the barrel); and you have no more than 0.1 mRad difference (1cm/100m)
