This is the story of the sinking of the Dorchester ship during WWII and how four chaplains onboard--a Jewish Rabbi, a Catholic Priest, a Dutch Reformed Minister, and a Methodist Minister--performed one of the greatest acts of heroism in history. Their story is currently being made into a feature film.
I recorded this from a radio broadcast a couple of years ago and do not own the rights. If the owners wish me to remove it I certainly will...but I sure hope you don't. This is a story everyone should know.
@gmdinformation i read this story in a book about miracles in the field of war i found it truly inspiring as well and yes shame it dose not have the attention it deserves

I am so happy I found this. I have been attending the annual 4 Chaplains memorial for three years. This past year, I was fortunate enough to sing the National Anthem and meet the son of one of the chaplains. It was such an amazing experience. Thank you for posting this informative and touching documentary.

I don't understand how this particular video hasn't gotten more views or been favorited much. (I can say that because I had nothing to do with the story). I think it's quite inspiring. I hope they do a good job on the movie.
