This song is dedicated to his wife (Now his Ex wife) Scarlett who died of cancer, Corey Taylor dedicated a lot of songs to her after she died, he went mentally insane because he couldn't do anything to stop her from dying thus leading to the song Wait And Bleed he attempted to commit suicide in the bathtub by cutting himself with a knife, he layed there in the tub, waiting and bleeding
