Just a little bit of trivia that I heard from somewhere. I think Japanese houses/manors were made to have noisy floorboards to protect the home's occupants from unknown invaders breaking in at night. Hard to miss several theives or killers coming in when the floor makes so much noise. ( and then came Ninjas )

i think the little girl was a child killed for the strangling ritual. and she is trying to help you solve the mystery. the reason she chased the girls brother was to get him farther away from the hands by scaring him into running out of the hallway. never played this game. dont know if thats true. itd be awesome if it were. if its not say so and tell me what happens in a pm.
