  • @ObsessedFantage12 Let's just enjoy this without thinking about him and the modern day show.

  • who is the man playing the steel drum?

  • I remember this from when it first aired. Then almost 25 years layer, I went to NYC for the first time and rode a central park carriage and this song popped into my head.

  • Very cool

  • I love how he picks up on the rhythm of the horse and applies it to the steel drum!

  • Steel drums originated in Trinidad during the second world war, while I was growing up there I was always proud to watch this clip on sesame street!

  • I am so happy to find this! Even after all these years I often hum this tune to myself. Thank you for posting!

  • I stilllove the drums, my best friend is a drummer for TUF

  • Wonder what the horse carrage driver thought but the drum playing?

  • Sesame Street was genuis...so simple but somehow so perfect for kids' growing brains. I know my brain soaked up lots of good things from this show: Be kind to others; share; play; dance and sing; be good to animals; eat your veggies and cookies...!
