I'm very scared about the CT release surgery. I'm almost convinced I will never be able to continue study the classical guitar if I have the transverse carpal ligament cut.A doctor told me the ligament,once cut,never rejoins it self and that is awful.People who had the surgery ,are they still able to perform complex tasks such as classical music soloists?I don't know but I doubt it.The TC ligament acts like a leverage to the tendons therefore looks absolutely necessary to me.

What should I do?
