I run Mac OS on my HP / PC Hackintosh ...

I also run Windows7, Linux and BSD... and I have to say Windows 7 rocks, and I don't like the the Mac OS...

god the way you talk really shows me why i hate macs, its cos their up them-selves, why did you have to highlight the word engineering??? like mac has something pc doesnt? Mac is an image thing, if you have mac your cool thats why you pay for more, apart from that it really has shit on pc

Also, the macbook air has its RAM soldered onto the logic board to allow for less aluminum casing so it can be tiny. This means less space inside,meaning techs must be extra careful in how they reroute cables (routing the cable UNDER rather than on top of another module).This is what I mean by better ENGINEERING.Overall, yah, u can find a faster processor EOM or in a more expensive PC, but what a pc doesn't have are the diagnostic tools/indicators to make repairs simple and straight forward.

Ok, so you may be able to find a better processor all by itself as an EOM or even w/more expensive PC's. What I meant when saying "higher end hardware" is that on some systems there are diagnostic LED's which indicate exactly what is wrong w/a particular module(s). Also, the way Apple ENGINEERS their systems is more higher end: for example, on a macbook pro, the processor is soldered onto the llgic board so if u need to replace the processor, the whole logic board needs replacing.

Ye the diagnostics arent the same, and ye it may be easier on mac, but the hardware is not 'way more higher' if u really were a mac technician u should pull ur thumb out and look at some of the specs for each part. Like i have said before, you can get the same/better hardware for pc cheaper. End of story mate

You're all idiots. I'm an apple technician and I can tell u the hardware in apple's is way more higher end and has real easy diagnostic that let you know exactly what is wrong with the computer. if the power is dead, it'll let you know, if the processor is dead, it will let you know, if your RAM is dead, it'll let you know. Can you do that with your PC? No because the diagnostics are not the same.

Windows mentioning that pc is better in a comercials, how shameless of them, a company like apple would never stoop so low as to attack their compition in comercials now would they? She didnt stay long in the mac store because she had a 1000$ budget, she probally asked someone what macs they had for under 1000 and got laughed at.

well i disagree and for a better laptop there is no cheaper place than ebay, but if u want the delusional safety of a store then go ahead and pay an extra $100 on ebay prices but ull still be cheaper and better off with a pc. in my opinion

fantastic, but i dun think u dun realise my point. Macs use the same hardware as pcs do, except they charge ridiculous prices becuase they are seen more popular. If u compared hardware prices for mac and pc u can get sooooo much greater power with pc for sooo much less its rediculous. Its just alot of hype which is generated by a very fuckin smart marketing team, and weak minded little bastards fall for it. im in studying design and the only reason i have a mac is cos their required........

how did he make himself look bad, he has a point dude. PC's are cheaper, and have better hardware available. The only bad things mac people can actually say about pcs are the programs but that varies with pc users so ye.. i have a mac and a pc too, but i still think pc is better by far, cos of the versatility of it, mac's cant match and will never match it, thats why they make programs which allows u to run Windows XP on macs... macs are only popular cos of their marketing. end of story
