Well they are trying to stop counterfeiting such as people getting fake goods. You don't want Fake Drugs. You don't want your child playing with some fake toy thats laced with lead. Much of what they are trying to do is protect people. It's when you see the portion of the Copyrighting Treaty that deals with Piracy and you say. How does Illegally downloading music become a Safety Concern? I think the Bill has some good parts but They need to re-write it. Some what it will do is stupid.

So I get stopped at the airport with my iPod, I ripped some vinyl records to it, how the heck do I prove that they´re legal? I guess that I´ll have to take a stack of 100 LPs with me?? Or how do you prove that you ripped your own personal CDs to your iPod, bring all your CDs to the airport?

Completely unworkable, and they KNOW that, which in my mind, makes it about something else more sinister, that´s why they won´t let us read it!
