@BrannenSaxGuy that is called an EWI (Electronic Wind Instrument) this looks like an original Steiner version (Steinerphone) more recent versions are made by Akai, the Akai EWI 4000S is the current release and is a smoking hot instrument. search for Brecker and Akai and you'll see a brief video of him wearing one out.
