iMovie 11 - Turning on Advanced Audio Editing

When I upgraded to iMovie 11 I was not able to find the advanced audio editing functions that were so highly praised by Apple. I looked all through the help files and nowhere does it say how to turn on the advanced audio editing. I later figured out these functions are switched off by default. I eventually stumbled upon the correct button and figured that's the topic of my next video.

09 doesn't have it. Advanced audio editing was part of the upgrade to imovie 11.

Do or anyone else who watch this vid (working w/audio) know, if you can edit music in a more advance way in iMovie by muting or removing just the lyric or a song. I do volunteer work and create movie/DVDs for local school and such and some of my music choices don't have the most appropriate song lyric but the perfect score (music). Can anything be done w/ the advance audio edit for something like that? Thx all
