Tattoo(MmE Season 2) (A Nick Jonas Love Story) Chapter 22

(Crap! Nicole heard, this is all my fault. Overeating, I began to cry. I went back to the room and sat on the bed. I wiped my tears and pulled out my phone, calling Sel.)
SELENA: Hello?
ASHLY: Hey Sel.
SELENA: Finally woke up huh?
ASHLY: Yeah, a while ago. How's Nicole?
SELENA: Fine, she's playing on the slides.
ASHLY: Oh, so she heard huh?
SELENA: Yeah, she was scared. She thought Nick was hurting you. *laughs* I had to tell her you guys were just playing a game.
ASHLY: Ugh! I'm so stupid. I should have thought more before I did that.
SELENA: Hey, don't put yourself down. You did nothing wrong but when I'm gone and you decide to do that, keep it down ok? I'm sure Nicole won't want to hear it. I know I didn't.
ASHLY: Haha, ok. Let me talk to Nicole.
SELENA: Hold on. *Distant* Nicole! Your mom's on the phone.
NICOLE: Hi mommy!
ASHLY: Hi sweetie are you having fun?
NICOLE: Yea! I love the park.
ASHLY: Haha I'm sure it's fun baby.
NICOLE: Mommy, what were you and daddy doing yesterday?
ASHLY: Just playing around. You wouldn't understand the game. It's for grown ups.
NICOLE: Oh. Mommy, when is daddy leaving again?
ASHLY: He's not leaving anymore. He's going to stay.
NICOLE: Really?
ASHLY: Yes, Nicole. Your dad is staying with us from now on.
NICOLE: Good because I love daddy and I know you do too.
ASHLY: Yes I do. alright so, I'll let you get back to playing. I love you.
NICOLE: Love you too!
(I hung up the phone and went downstairs to make something to eat. I looked at the clock. 10:30am. Maybe some eggs and bacon. As I began to take the ingredients out, Nick came downstairs. He wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his chin on my shoulder.)
NICK: What are you making baby?
ASHLY: Eggs and bacon.
NICK: Yum. Need any help?
ASHLY: No I got it.
NICK: Sure?
ASHLY: Yea, so Nicole heard us last night.
NICK: Oh, Ashly I'm sorry I should have said no.
ASHLY: Nick, it's my fault plus she doesn't even care. She's more concerned on when you're leaving again.
NICK: What? Where is she? I need to talk to her.
ASHLY: She's at the park with Selena and I already told her you're not leaving.
NICK: Ok, I'll talk to her later. So did Selena hear too?
ASHLY: Yes, haha.
NICK: See, I told you not scream so loud.
(I cracked the eggs on the hot pan and turned around.)
ASHLY: Oh please, you kept encouraging me! Plus, you were the one screaming my name.
NICK: No I wasn't! You were yelling my name so loud the neighbors probably heard! But I can't blame you, I am that good.
ASHLY: Whatever Nick! When Selena comes back she'll tell you it was you and not me that she heard!
NICK: No she's going to say it was you!
ASHLY: You want to bet on it Nicholas?
NICK: Full name? Ouch!
ASHLY: Are you betting on it or not?
NICK: Sure, 20 bucks
ASHLY: That's it? 20? You got money Mr. Rock star! What? Afraid to give a little of it?
NICK: Alright 120.
ASHLY: Now you're talking. Your on baby.
NICK: Good, now seal the deal.
(He stuck out his hand and I rolled my eyes.)
ASHLY: I'm your girlfriend not one of your buddies.
(I reached up and gave him a long hard kiss. I turned back around and laid the bacon on another pan. I scrambled the eggs and Nick stayed quiet, his arms still around my waist.)
ASHLY: Why so quiet now and not last night?
NICK: ha-ha, very funny and just thinking.
ASHLY: About?
NICK: How much I love you.
ASHLY: Nick, like I said, let's not turn into that cheesy kind of couple.
NICK: But it's true
ASHLY: Then I'm flattered and exactly how much do you love me?
NICK: So much that I want to marry you. I want to have more kids and grow old together with you.
ASHLY: I want that too.
NICK: Then can we make it happen?
ASHLY: Not at this moment, baby. Let's give it time. Please?
NICK: Of course. Anything for you baby.
(I smiled and turned off the stove. I got the plates off the cabinets. I gave one to Nick and put some food on his plate.)
NICK: Thanks
(I nodded and served myself food. I sat at the table across from Nick and began to eat. When I was finished I took my plate and placed it in the dishwasher. I got a piece of gum off the counter and popped it in my mouth. I sat back in my chair and Nick looked up at me.)
NICK: Why so far away baby?
(I laughed and sat on lap. I wrapped my arms around his neck and rested my head on his chest.)
ASHLY: I love cuddling with you. Your so warm.
NICK: Haha, do I take that as a compliment?
ASHLY: Yes.
NICK: Then thank you.
(He kissed my head and wrapped his arms around me, humming the tune to our song, From This Moment.)
ASHLY: You remember?
NICK: How can I forget it? It's our song.
(I smiled and cuddled into him even more. Gosh, do I love him!)
