Great promo! The self-titled six-track EP Elastica is a must-have by the way. I remember I used to play the first 3 tracks in a row for quite a crowd (being a DJ), and nobody noticed I was NOT switching bands. Instead lots of people complimented upon me for playing completely different styles of music that were still coherent.

I've often wondered if they recorded this as a riposte to the accusations of plagiarism:
Let's face it, no one is ever going to accuse mark E Smith of stealing their music!
And if they did, even the judge would laugh them out of of court!

This promo was the last real record I ever bought (so far).
In a second-hand shop in Oxford.
I could hardly believe what I was seeing: Elastica and Mark E. Smith playing together!
I would have paid a lot more than the 50p they were asking.
