I had the older version with the square bonnet louvre - first car - mega fun! Still never pulled with it though! Maybe girls were more into the post 1991 model? (It had a more rounded bonnet louvre)....yeah, that'll be it!

My dad have one from 1993- Very good quality.
And no problems with engine.

we did, took us almost 3 weeks, got it running and MOT ran up, took it in and it failed very badly so i had to end her life :'(
