Whether or not Jo is a racist on the inside is irrelevent. The comments she made WERE racist. She has to be held accountable for what she does and says, not merely what she felt or "meant". She not only went along with the derogatory remarks of Jade and Danielle, but spewed her own racially insensitive venome: "...they [Indian people] are skinny because they're always sick." How was that "taken the wrong way"? In the context of making snide jokes about Shilpa she also insulted Indian people.

yea it's a shame people took those comments the wrong way cause jo is incredibly nice and i know she isnt racist! and it not only ruined her career bu tit ruined her life...she still cries about this everyday and i saw an interview where she was shaking like crazy, rocking back and forth...and couldnt stop crying and she did apologize to anyone she offended

Jo is not a Racist she made a dumb mistake she called herself playing Jade Goody and Danielle Lloyd in that mess too up their necks in death threats that year it went on :***(

Her comments were NOT "taken out of context". It's no excuse to say she didn't mean anything hurtful. When Jo heard racial epitets being leveled by her 'friends', she caved in to peer preasure and joined in. She deliberately put herself in the public eye, and uttered those shocking statements. And now she can't un-ring that bell--not all talk is cheap. No matter how many people of different ethnicities Jo O'Meara counts as her friends, actions carry consequences.
