  • oh, the title said ..."and pear" sorry just assumed u would show us that part?, I tried this recipe this morning I added cinnamon, nutmeg to my Quinoa & than I only had whole Cardamom so I used fine grater & tried 2 be scarce w/this spice as it can overpower. I added, dash maple syrup/Bonsoi, that was the BEST tasty, I also had hot water, fresh ginger but I added green tea prior, 1 hr l8R my NRG levels r soaring!!!

  • @glammacakes sorry, the pear I just chop up into bite-size pieces and put on top :) there's a photo with the recipe and directions on my site if you click the link under the video. That sounds like some amazing flavors you have going on there, I bet it was delicious :) And I'm glad to hear your energy did so well!

  • i am thinking of storing grains/flours in dark containers so the nutrients don't react with light

  • @werewasyo it doesn't hurt, but for grains and beans it's not really necessary. Flax and other nuts and seeds would be good in dark containers

  • Do you think coconut milk would work? I don't care much for porridge done with water...

  • @fdoeppen coconut milk would be really thick, unless you use the kind that comes in a carton now (I usually think of it as the very heavy fatty stuff in a can). It's also wonderful with almond or rice milk.

  • @norxcontacts I love green & herbal teas, but just don't enjoy the taste of coffee or black tea... I think it's the tannins.
