@FONZiEownzU newyorksteelo said it could be done either way and so did the seller. I just thought I'd ask a few people to see what they do. So for now I think I'll leave them too and let them grow over the discs. I think I'll ask taedom what he's gonna do for his.

what type of filter does a saltwater tank need? i have a top fin power filter 10. is this strong enough? plz reply someone ASAP

@TheMartin108 It depends on if you are getting corals or not. if you aren't you just need to make sure your nitrates are low enough and doo weekly or biweekly water changes. but for just fish, that should be enough

not only will the 150watts be to much but its gona raise your remperture way high in that 10 gallon you should upgrade to at least a 29g for that light good luck though hehe

@memorex0027 I was going to have the fixture raised above my tank about 12" so the heat shouldn't affect my tank. I have read about people using that structure on 10 gallon tanks with great success also. We'll see what I end up doing. Thanks for you opinion =]

I got several frags in too. Do you usually just leave them on the disc and let them grow over it? Or do you eventually mount them directly to you reef?

@kevinrsp depends.. Polyps I don't know how to mount, so I have just left them on the frag, if they are on a small rock on the frag, I will take them off. I'll figure something out cuz tho Monti Cap is going to have to be moved of the frag square.
