It may be a bug, but they have emotions too! Not many people realize this. =3 they're more intelligent then people give them credit for.

@kikidemon No. They're not. They're bugs. Emotions =/= intelligence, and the limit of their emotion is fear, as in, "AHHH GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM MEEEE! DONT EAT MEEEEE!"

@bluehorse1214 Once in adult form, only a few months. They can live years as grubs, though, depending on conditions.

Yes, she was very friendly. If anything, she was more afraid of me. You can see her other video where she's scared of the camera.

@coolkid1120 Cause the USDA makes no sense. You can get all sorts of imported animals at your local pet store, but not others. The argument is, that they can become an invasive species...how that's different from any other non-native animal, I don't know. BUT, we've gotten ourselves into so much trouble with snakes/lizzards/iguanas all over the south, I supposed it's for the best.
