  • @thedeadcthulhu My brother Robert was killed in Viet Nam in 1968. This was his movie or perhaps movement before he was drafted. I was almost 3 years old at the time of his death. My mother, "Well that would be an entirely different story altogether now wouldn't it." I felt her pain and wathced her grow old. Much like you and everyone else will in time. I watched my mother fall to the floor in Sterns when she heard his favorite song...somewhere my love

  • This mini series was shown on TV,English Channel a few years ago.I was very surprised to know this remake version.Had watched for a few minutes, just could not stand it.I think the ones who love Omar's version must be rolling on their graves.I've seen Omar's version on DVD more than ten times. It is really a masterpiece! No others can compare with it ! Since we've already got the timeless, flawless and perfect classic, why do we need to reproduce ?

  • @Drettorch I'll admit the original is extraordinary, but the remake is amazing as well. It may not be as good, but it follows the book more.

  • Бля, а русской версии нет??? I have to watch a movie with a dictionary?

  • Beijos Carol ! Cuide-se bem !

  • @thedeadcthulhu

Russian version, filmed in 2005 is a more better.

  • David Lean's film is much better. But Keira Knightley goes nude while Julie Christie doesn't.

  • What is this garbage? The original with Omar Sharif and Julie Christie is perfect. There's no need to reproduce it.

  • i know the kid that had the operation on his throat!!!!
