Actually i find this to be biased & very afro-centric.Everybody knows that africans actually belong to their real homeland africa and that Mexicans,Chicanos are the only people with the rightful & legit claim to this land! Aztlan (the southwest) is our place of origin which we shared with all the other Indigenous peoples in the area. All Indigenous people are the actual and TRUE owners of this whole continent. We were here before any of the other races started settling illegaly on our territory!

I <3 Judy's work!

I actually stopped to see this while visiting Los Angeles! It is one of those things that you can see many pictures, but until you actually stop and see it yourself, you can never fully appreciate its beauty!

Also they try to say that we desended from Asia, whoever they are!! They are full of shite, dont even want to admit that we were killed for this land!!

This is an awesome video... I am a First Nation of British Columbia and we have the same story... "The untold History of the Indians" 'The First People" It all makes sense to me, I have been following and looking for our history for the past 10years and its all coming together as I find how old USA and Canada is to the white man!! its not that old too them but our history goes back 9000+ years on this land, What is now called USA and Canada!!

Nice, I used to live on the street this Mural is on. Loved to walk along and study the images. Zoot Wars, Japanese Camps, all this stuff that is shameful to the Great White Hope. No wonder they sunk it down into the river, but it should be seen. Nice video!

i grew up in the area and was so happy to learn that kids 'in the system' actually painted the mural. i spoke to judy baca and she talked about the mural. it's a great reflection of the people of los angeles. if you haven't seen it, go by and look.

Discovering this wall has changed my life and the way I will teach social studies in my classroom. Thank you Judith, for creating this work of art, history and social consciousness. This is one step toward educating all about our true history.
