QUANTUM of SOLACE intro CASINO ROYALE style

Presenting the intro of Quantum of Solace in the style of Casino Royale (including the odd gunbarrel). Instead of the car chase scene this version jumps right to the "Mr. White's interrogation" which is also edited to remove the distracting race track scene (which I feel was added as a filler to kill time). Also like Casino Royale the opening gunbarrel is integrated in the plot during an actual confrontation with Bond in again a "non-traditional" shooting stance (perhaps a parody of the previous Bond's gun barrels).

There are a lot of great action sequences that didn't made it because I have limited hard disk space. Overall at least the editing made it simpler, direct and brief enough for an intro.

I have always I expected Daniel Craig's Bond will use this motif as he evolves into the smooth secret agent we know before he earns the "classical " intro and gun barrel sequence. I guess the concept was abandoned when a different director took over QoS.

For this pre-title sequence I suggested how from black and white the sequence finally gets its color (when Bond and his nemesis crashes through the glass rooftop).

Many may have noticed that this is fourth time -- and hopefully the last--I revised and published this here in Youtube updating both the video and its description. Obviously it was a work in progress.

For me this was much more interesting than the original as it immediately establishes the story and pushes it forward. The car chase scene was really more of an action sequence and was a bit more jarring than usual-- needs to be viewed twice to be appreciated.

This was really great! I really liked the movie, the only thing i really would have probably changed is the song, but now seeing this, I think they should have started the movie this way, it would have been a greater opening for the film, great work!!!

I would've kept Quantum of Solace as is except edit the gunbarrel sequence(properly like in Casino Royale) and intro music the way you did.

The director -Marc Forster- has stated (according to wikipedia) that his not a fan of 007. You can sense this in the QoS original pre title opening sequence. Except for the last 5 seconds ('It's time to get out" line) most of it is too generic.
