God isn't the only answer. You can be good and live a happy life without God. I know this for a fact because I am a good, moral person, and I have a loving wife and a loving family and am perfectly content. I am unafraid of death. By death I mean the end, the ultimate reassimilation with the energy of our Universe. I mean the loss of my consciousness.

What really drives people like Tamara to so thoroughly embrace religion is that they fear true death.
