  • @composer369 Thank you so much for replying! I had lately gone out of my baroque reverence and thus lost this video in the depths of youtube. But now with your reply and notification conveniently to my email I can remind myself of this wonderful treat to my ears. Where I can find the studio version you mention?

  • @ilzedia I, like you think of this pre-Puccini gem often, sometimes as many as three or four times a day & I cannot go without listening to it at least once a week. The lower neighbor use of ornamentation that Jaroussky utilizes in this masterly work by one of the most masterly is like maple syrup...it oozes it's buttery warmth with its seduction. Bravo Tutta Mente. There is a studio version of it that has filmed his hands moving with the phrases...it is the best of the bast.

  • Since one week ago, this is my new favourite piece of baroque music. Absolutely beautiful and pleasure for ears.

  • the audience is hypnotized by their overwhelming talent!!!! I alse was static listen to each and every note of it! Increadible!

  • :48 seems like the bass jumped a bar, fucks up the cadence

  • This is one of those magic moments when genius meets on all levels, and you have this irresistible charm ... what a gem.

  • great..... just great

  • The subtle new aspects M. Jaroussky brings in almost every concert are one of the things I especially appreciate here the small ornament at the end and some other nuances. It keeps the music incredibly alive, and me, listening, fully awake. And how the audience remains silent for so long ... well, in deep trance, not wanting the silence after this aria ever to end Wonderful.
