Hahaha... I wish! (No seriously, I do!)
I think I put an additional 2500km on it (in one month of time).

BTW: It's my first cruiser model... before I had been on Suzuki & Aprilia crotch rockets. Tried to find something to get myself into a slower pace....

OOOH very nice.... I am looking at bikes myself these days (gas prices and all). I like the short hook sticker idea :-)

You would look good on a cruiser, thats one thing for sure! :) If you are unsure about the build quality of the older VT 600s, I can tell you to go for it: The are bullit-proof bikes!
(And indeed: it's the most economical manner of transportation)

HAHAH thanks! Lets hope I do if I ever get one. :-) I really am considering it at this point. I drive about 90 miles a day when I go into the office. I would just need to have a place for my backpack, but other than that - no need for anything.

U have forgotten the most important factor you will need: Coolness... the bike has to be cool. IT'S THE GOLDEN RULE, NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN!!!!
But, anyways, on most bikes you got plenty of space to get your gear with you. And if not: You can also buy a couple of saddle bags.
