Sponsor: http://RidleyReport.com - Government overreaction makes it hard to question the activities of the people it targets. Nevertheless, concerns are beginning to surface within the New Hampshire liberty community, over the Travis' handling of their horses.

  • Where is the video evidence she references?

  • channel 9. i'll ad a link to the video descrip. note however that it was taken 2 weeks after the seizure and we don't have vid of the seized horses from the day of the seizure or immediately thereafter.

Note also that the SPCA did not respond to me when I requested to videotape the seized horses right after the seizure.

  • maybe i should clarify... WE don't have GOOD video of the seized horses from the day of the raid. The authorities apparently shot some and brian shot some but his is really grainy probably because it was a Blackberry.

  • I've been involed in cases such as these in louisiana, as a horse owner myself, I have reported abused horses to no avail, and also have assisted people falsely accused of neglet, when doing so, I was "accused" although not formerly, of having negleted horses myself! the horse in question was a rescued retired thouroughbred racehorse that if not for the owner (who was boarding with me) would have been put to sleep? we were trying to rehibiltate this horse..now who are the crimals?

  • They pissed off the Owellian Pigs.

There not need be a conspiracy for sheeple to follow their shepards to the fleecing.

  • More to the point, who is going to buy horses from bad breeders? Isn't this self-regulating already? Don't such regulations cause a moral hazard where people who buy horses won't do due diligence to avoid supporting bad breeders? When I buy pets, whether furry or slippery, I always ask how they were acquired.

Most horse regulations end up causing greater pain on the part of horses, like the banning of horse meat which translates to horses being transported thousands of miles by rail.

  • The question is:

Why did the SPCA violate THEIR OWN RULES to take the horses without notice or any investigation?

Even granted everything that the SPCA and cops have said so far, their violation of their own rules makes them the "bad guys" here.

  • Yep, the SPCA/government video shot that day is what we need to see.

  • I disagree. because we know they feel pain and desire food and water like people, those are their rights as long as they live but unlike people we dont have reason to think they have ambition or are purpose driven so they dont have a right to life.

  • Semantics are important. Governments have enumerated Powers, PEOPLE have enumerated Rights.

  • > I dont know what rational agents are.

Things that are purpose driven, and have a will.

    > if someone has a horse and isnt taking care of it I dont think they can claim it as their own.

If something is right bearing, it is autonomous and cannot be claimed as property. Saying something can only be property if it is treated in a certain manner makes no sense. If horses have rights they cannot be claimed as property at all, regardless of circumstance.

  • I dont know what rational agents are. Children retards insane or senile people arent necessarily rational but we give them rights because we value and empathize with them. if someone has a horse and isnt taking care of it I dont think they can claim it as their own.
