How to recycle those pesky leftover wine bottles from your new years parties. You can use this idea to either give them as gifts as I have done in the past, or to keep for yourself to add a nice scent to your home.

Remember the following while doing this craft:

1) If you are under the legal drinking age in your country, state, or province, don't drink
2) Arrive alive, don't drink and drive
3) wear protection in case of broken glass like eye and hand protection

  • I'm underage and I drank a bottle of wine because of this video. Odd.

  • @MrGrevy Although I dont condone underage drinking, I understand it happens (and im just as guilty), perhaps next time ask a parental unit or of age friend for an empty one.

However, when you are of ave, I could always make some suggestions :-)

  • @kieraoona That is probably sage advice. I only wanted to create an innocent, fun incense holder and I end up entering the staging ground for alcoholism! It's amazing the things that happen without your intent. Now I find I want more wine.

  • @MrGrevy Be sure that when you are handling power tools, or sharp, pointy objects, that you do so stone cold sober. Baaaad things can happen if you slip. Last thing I would want is for someone to drill thorugh or cut off a finger. I've had enough craft injuries to know how much it hurts, and I wouldn't wish that on any of my viewers.

  • @kieraoona So are you are saying that I should try to separate my lust for tinkering from my newly discovered lust for wine?

  • @MrGrevy Im saying alcohol and power tools dont mix

  • @kieraoona While drunk, I did find an interesting combination of the two. I used a paint stirrer attachment on my 9.6v cordless black and decker to mix my white wine spritzer! Delicious!!
