This sequence of still images charts the construction of a pioneering building in Shoreditch, North London designed by Waugh Thistleton Architects. The entire erection of the nine storey structure was completed in nine weeks. The structure is fabricated entirely from cross-laminated timber panels, manufactured in Austria and assembled on site by KLH. The building comprises 29 residential apartments and was completed by Telford Homes in January 2009.
