  • hello, i{m writing from argentina, i wanted to know if i can put something greasy on the big head surface, because it sounds bad when the weather is dry, thank you

  • @FrankMustaine I definitely would NOT recommend putting any greasy substance on the drum. I doubt it would have any beneficial effects, and it will probably damage the drum.

  • HAri bol! WOnderful videos thank you so much for sharing.

I'm trying to get the transition between the Ta - Khe -- Khe - Ta - Ge - Ge and the tihai however it's quite hard. After the third Ge - Ge do you immediately start the Ta-- Khe - Ta Jha?

does the last ta of the tihai also represent the first ta of the orignal mantra? or after the last ta do you play another ta to start the mantra over again?

    Hare krsna,

  • @computerkid108 After the third Ge - Ge you must wait one beat, then go into the tihai. The last Jha of the tihai takes the place of the first Ta of the mantra Ta Khe Ta Ge Ge.

  • which is advantage of your mrdanga-lessons that the teacher can not be overstressed patience ... you can view the program 100 times until it works! tanx abhijib

  • @abhijitb1 Isn't the last line of tihai ta - ke - *ta*? So you don't play the whole tihai before mantra?

  • dear abhijit, thanx a lot for this basic classes, I can improve from thevery few things I learned in Vrindavan where I purchased my khol. It helps a lot for kirtan evening we give with my husband, here in France.
