  • Were the Ecumenical Councils "Invisible" too with The Bishops and Pope around from the first centuries on?? Bishops are not invisible... lol...

  • @modelearth I just not familiar which comment you mean?

  • @modelearth sorry... i don't remember which one you meant? You should always include the quotation.. but i'll look so i can answer you.. ;-)

  • @JDNWF66 wow i made that comment 3 years ago! time flies..

not sure what your point is btw

  • Pooorly examined stuff is more like it. Lutheranism is very VISIBLE. ok? This is such jargon...I can't believe I amhearing this.. I have friends at CTU who are Lutheran scholars and are laughing at this material...It is soooo poorly executed. Very embarrassing..No Lutheran scholar believes in an "Invisible Church" offcially. They call it "catholic" with a csmall 'c" but try telling that to another protestant....YA! You'll get a Noooooooooooooooo .. Soo.. This is hogwash.

  • Really? Whereever was The Curch called "The Invisible Church"? He doesn't quote that piece of history does he? Interesting... Takes a couple of scriptures and throws them around for this meaning. It is intolerable... Very un patristic. Completely.

  • Also, i will ad this point, this idea of an invisible CHURCH..... was CHRIST invisible too? How can His Bride, be too? That's an early Church Heresy that Christ was Invisible? It's simply resurfacing under the Brand of Jesus' Church, now.. This is so lame an idea and thrown overwater when you just read the 1st century fathers... under persecution..There was a clear heirarchical structure even as early as in "ACTS, CH 15." it's a good excuse for explaining away denominationalism.... ;-)
