This is where I rebut Chomsky, writing about it, I argued that the people at one point have to relinquish power to the republic, while the polyarchy may surface it cannot happen as long as the contract between the people and government are intact. The problem Chomsky glides over is the 'give me' mentality that has replaced the 'good of the country' mentality. People vote their guy in and believe he cant do wrong because they keep their gov money coming into that district and their jobs.

As pointed out though corporations only involve themselves in politics when the government has the power to make a substantial difference in the market. When it is more profitable to lobby congress than to spend that money reinvesting in your company you have a problem.

The problems we are getting into , some of our systems are socialized , others are communed , while others are capitalized , They found that the different systems worked best in different areas . When everything is in balance and one does not over step the other things here work very well . There are some things that cannot be capitalized or they will corrupt.
